How to set yourself up for a successful day without blinking

I'm asked: You have so much energy, and you do so much- how do you start?

Do you jump out of bed with joy and zest, ready for your day?
Most days, I don't.
Do I have to?
I do like a good morning practice.

Because the way we set ourselves up in the morning directs how we move during our day.
If you start your day eating sugar, your body wants sugar all day, your energy will spike and fall.
If you set up with protein or at least slow-burning carbs, you're more stable.
My latest 'thing that works' is green juice first thing. It's really lifted my energy, and I was on lemon water...
If you start your day with journaling, pilates, yoga or simply a guided meditation (for more eyes closed time!), you set yourself up for optimal flow.

This isn't compulsory. It just really works. Try?
