It wasn't a frivolous pursuit, but a response to feeling misunderstood, unheard, and unseen despite my distinctive appearance marked by my petite stature, flowing hair, and a unique, low-pitched voice. Even when people knew who I was, I felt they didn't quite 'get' me. This drove me to amplify my voice and diversify my methods of self-expression.
