Our makeup of healthy functioning is multi-layered and has plenty of individual variations.

As the demands of life are pulling on your attention your “strings”, humans who let themselves be pulled will feel a decline in their experience of life over time.

Your cheese string of healthy functioning is getting thinner as kids are pulling; work is pulling; life conditions are pulling. Parents, situations, crisis, well-known stress factors are all pulling.

A healthy individual protects its cheese string of capacity by setting healthy boundaries: making decisions that allow for them to benefit too, willingly looking after themselves, understanding their “yes” and their “no” and acting in integrity to them.

A wholesome individual prioritises their own well-being and sets into place recovery processes instantly where this has been compromised temporarily. The truth and secret to a healthy and happy life is that you do indeed matter. You have become matter. Your matter (biological, physical etc) actually literally matters!
