Co-op IGD 2024 – Transforming Leadership with Confidence, Storytelling, and Team Unity

Challenge:

In 2023, Co-op’s leadership team struggled with public speaking. Many leaders were untrained and disengaged. Some believed they were competent because they felt confident on stage, yet they lacked critical skills for delivering impactful messages. For the 2024 IGD Trade Briefing, Co-op needed a unified, powerful message to align with their multimillion-pound rebrand. Held at the Co-op Live Arena, the event demanded more than just presence—it required confidence, cohesion, and clarity to engage key suppliers and stakeholders.

Solution:

I provided a tailored, multi-faceted training program, including both 1:1 coaching and group sessions, that focused on transforming each leader’s approach to public speaking. Through personalized coaching, we built confidence, refined competencies, and fostered a deep sense of team collaboration. For female leaders, we addressed the specific challenge of taking up space without fear of rejection, helping them speak freely and with impact.
